The renovation of a 50-person restaurant uses a low L-shaped wall of intense fish life to separate the seating from the service spaces. Augmented by a luminous Lite-Brite Braille sub-tex, this lively linear assemblage acts as limit, background and conversation piece for its patrons who are urged by the frieze of abstract text to:
DRINK UP THE ALERTNESS IN EYES GLINTING WITH SLOWFISH LUST.
to: SWALLOW UP THE DEAD LANGUAGES OF FISH AND ALL MUTE THINGS.
and: TO COMMUNICATE IN THE SILENT MEDIUM OF TWISTING FISH SPASMS.
